    Bio:

I am a Dutch artist, living in Birmingham, a city I grew to love surprisingly fast. I like to create complex inc and watercolour drawings to explore structures and patterns of global challenges, such as inequality, violence and social perceptions. My work is inspired by well known symbols and depictions, and I explore what their meanings could teach us in a more political context. I hope my work informs and inspires new audiences and conversations about the bigger challenges of today. I organise and facilitate arts events, exhibitions and workshops around these social and global issues (currently for arts charity Leaveners). I specialised in processes of change through art in both my BA in Dramatherapy and MA ‘Theatre and Global Development’.
